PROGRAM OFFERED
BS Nursing
The Department of Nursing at BINHS college offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, comprising a total of 134 credit hours distributed across eight semesters. Following the academic coursework, students are required to complete a one-year mandatory clinical internship, making the program a five-year comprehensive path to professional nursing practice.
The BSN curriculum is approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC). It integrates foundational courses in basic sciences, clinical sciences, and nursing sciences to provide a holistic and well-rounded education. The program is designed to develop students’ cognitive abilities, clinical competencies, and professional skills with an emphasis on evidence-based practice, research, and innovation in healthcare.
Eligibility:
- A minimum of 50% marks in Pre-Medical (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) is required.
- Candidates must have passed the FSc Pre-Medical or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Candidates must be between 17 and 35 years of age at the time of admission.
ENTRY TEST
The admission test is a compulsory requirement and it will be a specially designed test to assess the aptitude of the student in the field of Nursing. All the candidates will be required to pass this admission test in order to become eligible for admission to this program.
DETERMINATION OF MERIT
The merit of the candidates will be determined according to the following weightage
- 10% weightage to S.S.C. Examination (Matric) : SSC % marks x 0.1
- 40% weightage to Intermediate or equivalent examination: Intermediate % marks x 0.4
- 50% weightage to entry test: Entry Test % marks x 0.5

As a modern 100–120 bed hospital, it provides students with comprehensive clinical exposure, hands-on training, and practical experience in a professional healthcare environment, helping them develop the skills and confidence required for quality patient care.
